They flutter there, / The two flowers

Half of the moon,
Half of the stars,
Smile down at them,
Fondly.

They flutter there,
The two flowers.
The wind caresses them
And the moonlight sings to them,
The songs of togetherness.

Half of the moon,
And half of the stars,
Walk them down their dreams.

They smile, they flutter.
They look at one another.

They look at one another
And they blossom together
Because the night and the wind,
The grass and the dew,
Was theirs and gladly theirs.
